The vaccine tracking automation sends SMS reminders to unvaccinated employees until proof of vaccination details have been confirmed. Once submitted, all documentation is automatically added to your employee’s profile, allowing you to quickly pull reports for proof of vaccination and leaving your staff to focus on improving client outcomes.

How does the Vaccine Tracker Automation work?

Your agency administrator will set up an unvaccinated department of current employees without vaccination proof. The automation then sends a weekly SMS notification to your employees with a link to submit vaccination details, upload proof, and affirm that the information they are providing is true. If the employee is unvaccinated and without a medical exemption, they will continue to receive the SMS notification until they comply.

How do I know who is vaccinated or not?

Once your employee submits vaccination details, all proof will be added to their profile and they will be automatically removed from the vaccination department. Employees will also have a new skill turned on called COVID fully vaccinated.

What if my employee is exempt from getting the vaccine?

Your employee is required to submit all proof of exemption documentation. Once submitted and affirmed that this is true, they will be automatically removed to the unvaccinated department, and a new skilled called COVID fully exempted” is turned on.

What if my employee does not want to comply?

Once CMS or another regulatory body provides a final date for compliance, you have the choice to list unvaccinated employees as suspended and disabled from being added to shifts. 

Will I be able to report on my organization’s vaccination rates?

Yes, you will be able to build reports on unvaccinated employees in AlayaCare’s Data Exploration tool.

Is there an additional cost for the Vaccine Tracker Automation?

Yes. The Vaccine TrackeAutomation is a premium feature and the first feature included in the new  premium Compliance Tracker Automation package. If you’re already an existing customer with AlayaCare, please reach out to your Account Manager for more details. My province does not allow my organization to store vaccine identification. How can I validate my employee's vaccine proof?

The AlayaCare team is working on adapting the submission form to support provinces that do not support identification storage. Please stay tuned.
