Year’s end is always a great time to look back and reflect on the many milestones achieved over the past 12 months. At AlayaCare, we’ve been fortunate to enjoy a fantastic year, and it’s all thanks to our amazing client partners and staff.
To wrap up 2017, here’s a look at the most popular posts from our blog over the past year that may be worth a read or a revisit. From our family to yours, have a wonderful holiday season. We look forward to all that 2018 has to offer!
In November, our CEO Adrian Schauer detailed AlayaCare’s top predictions for homecare as we move into 2018. It was a useful look at the implications of caregiver shortages, shifting funding models and increasing demands by clients to receive care on their terms. If you missed this post the first time around, be sure to give it a read -- it’s relevant no matter what market you’re in.
Also in November, we proudly unveiled our latest software evolution: a new algorithm that allows agencies to reduce employee stress and up to 30% of home care worker travel time. Agencies can now benefit from schedule and route optimization capabilities, a new applicant tracking system, and vacant shift offers via mobile devices, ultimately helping to retain and recruit care worker while enabling more focus on client care.
We welcomed a number of new staff members this year, including our VP of Client Success, Gosia Radaczynska. She joined AlayaCare following six years at a healthcare-IT company where she led a high-performing team of implementation, clinical, and technical professionals.
We also welcomed 26 new client partners this year! A huge, warm welcome again to all of you. We look forward to continuing to help you provide the very best patient outcomes into 2018 and beyond.
There’s no doubt that times are a changing in the home care industry, and for our U.S. friends in particular, many regulations surrounding the CURES act are top of mind. These posts outlined the importance of not only thinking ahead to 2019, but beyond -- and how technology such as Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) can provide many benefits outside of simply meeting official requirements. As always, our door is open for any questions or concerns about choosing the right software for your agency’s needs.
AlayaCare was grateful to receive more industry support this year, including a generous grant from Quebec-based Fonds Innovexport that continues to allow us to grow alongside the home care industry we support. As we look forward to our fourth birthday, we’re so grateful and fortunate to be one step closer to our goal of being the global leader in home healthcare technology!
Here’s to 2017… and 2018.
